This is a project that serves to create a map of social workers who are involved in the use, education, and creation of ethical technology practice.
Our hope is that this will help ourselves, and the general public to more easily locate social workers who:
1. Understand the value of social work proficiency when using technology, and interacting with our clients, students, and communities; and when developing policies and procedures related to technology that will impact the lives of our clients, students, and communities.
2. Provide an available list for the general public when they seek out practitioners who understand the ethical uses of technology, and the impacts on individuals and communities.
3. Allow social workers to more easily find each other, so that we can continue to find new ways to collaborate and to examine the effects of technology in our society.
